The Park Waivers Claim Board allows managers to claim players onto their team.
Eligible players are those that are not on a team or under contract, and are at
least 20 years old. Players can be claimed in the order of a claim number
assigned to each team. A lower claim number has priority over a higher claim
number, and can take a claim away. Whenever a manager makes a claim, the claim
number for that manager is reset to the highest number.
Original claim numbers are set by priority. The best claim number goes to the
park team that played at least 81 games the previous season, in order from
worst record to best. After that, any player that owns a valid stadium permit
will get their claim number set, starting with the oldest account. When a
player who does not have a claim number purchases a stadium permit, they are
assigned the highest claim number. At the start of Spring Training, any
manager who did not have a qualifying park team the previous season and does
not have a valid stadium permit for the coming season, will lose their claim
number and no longer be able to claim players. Any players who did qualify the
previous season will then be added to the claim queue in reverse order of their
finish. If a manager qualifies with more than one park team, the one with the
best record will be used to determine claim number.
Each manager can only have one active claim at a time, and an active claim
cannot be removed. Any claims beyond that are added to the claim queue and
can be removed as long as they are still in the queue and not an active claim.
The only way to remove your claim is if someone with a lower claim number comes
and takes it. When a claim is made, it stays on the claim board for 24 hours.
If you have a lower claim number than any claim on the board, you can take that
claim, as long as you do not already have an active claim. When this happens,
if there are less than 8 hours remaining on the claim, the time is reset back
up to 8 hours. Once the claim time expires, the player is claimed by the
winning manager and placed on the park team. The transfer lock time for that
player is reset, so that the manager can immediately move him to another team.

How do I get a claim number?
There are only two ways to get a claim number. The first is to finish a season
in the park and play at least 81 games. The second is to purchase a stadium
permit.
When is the Claim Board open?
The claim board opens at the start of spring training and closes at the start
of the playoffs. New claims cannot be made less than 24 hours before the start
of the playoffs, and claims cannot be taken less than 8 hours before.
How does the Claim Queue work?
After you have a claim on the claim board, you can queue up other players to
be automatically claimed when your active claim is filled or when you lose your
claim to a lower claim number. In either of these cases, the website will
automatically look through your claim queue. If the next player in your queue
is not claimed, a claim will be made immediately. If the next player is being
claimed by someone with a higher claim number, you will immediately take the
claim. If the next player is being claimed by someone with a lower claim
number, that player will be removed from your queue and the website will look
at the next player in your queue.
What happens to my Claim Number between seasons?
You keep the same number. The players who finish in the standings will be
given new Claim Numbers above you. Players who purchase a new stadium permit
during the offseason will get new Claim Numbers above that. Then anyone whose
stadium permit expired and didn't make the standings will lose their claim
number. Everyone who still has one will have their number shifted down to fill
in the gaps.
